MSKgestion is a business management application published by MSKconnecT SARL, based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what data the application collects, why it is collected, and what your rights are.

| Phone number | Create and identify your account. The number is verified using a code sent by WhatsApp or SMS when you sign up and when you sign in again. |
| Device identifier | Limit the number of accounts created from the same phone and detect abuse. This app-specific identifier does not enable you to be tracked outside the app. |
| IP address at the time of registration | Limit automated account creation. It is retained with the registration attempt. |
| Information about your business (name, address, outlets, team members) | Operate the application and associate your data with your business. |
| Activity data you enter: sales, products, inventory, expenses, customers, and accounts receivable | This is the core content of the service. This data belongs to you. |
| Contact details of customers you choose to save (name, phone number) | Track customer credit and send payment reminders. You are responsible for this data in relation to your customers. |
| Your name and, if you provide it, your email address | Identify the person responsible for the business, enable account recovery, and contact you about the service. The email address is optional. |
| Product photos you add | Illustrate your catalog. These images are uploaded to and stored on our servers so that they are available on your other devices. |
| Your subscription history | Determine which subscription plan is active and until when. We record the purchase and its expiry date, but never your payment information. |
| PIN (in encrypted form) | Protect access to the application. The PIN itself is never stored in plain text. |
| Technical data: device model, operating system version, crash reports, and error reports | Diagnose failures and improve stability. |
The application requests access to the camera (for product photos and barcode scanning), notifications (for inventory alerts and reminders), and biometric authentication (for unlocking). These permissions are optional and can be disabled in your phone’s settings.
Your data is initially stored on your phone, which allows you to use the application without an internet connection. When a network is available, it is synchronized and backed up by our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers located in Frankfurt, Germany. Crash reports are processed by Sentry, also on servers located in Germany.
In other words, your data leaves the Democratic Republic of the Congo to be hosted in the European Union, where it benefits from the European data protection framework.
Communications between the application and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Data access is segregated by business.
We share your data only with service providers necessary to operate the service:

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. Following a deletion request, it is erased from our servers within 30 days, except for information that we are required to retain for legal or accounting reasons.

MSKgestion is a professional tool intended for merchants. The application is not intended for anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
This policy may change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page; if a significant change is made, we will notify you in the application.
